Womp Womp: Washington Post Pays For Its Malfeasance… Settles $250MM Suit with Covington High Student Nicholas Sandmann
It took three years of President Trump waging war on the fake news media but it’s finally paying off.
Nicholas Sandmann is going to be a very rich young man by the time the fake news media is done forking over the cash for defaming him. If President Trump wasn’t a public figure he’d be in line for even larger paydays.
Sandmann and a group of his Covington classmates were vilified by the Washington Post, CNN, ABC, CBS, The Guardian, The Hill, and NBC, among other outlets, after they were filmed wearing “Make America Great Again” hats.
While on a field trip to Washington DC, Sandmann, who was 16, was singled out by the propaganda media after edited footage of his confrontation with Native American activist Nathan Phillips was picked up by CNN and the other outlets and ran over and over claiming the incident was racially motivated.
The unedited video told a completely different story. It showed Tribal Elder Phillips instigated the encounter when he approached Sandmann – because he was wearing a Make America Great Again hat – and began banging a drum and chanting in his face.
Sandmann and his attorneys previously settled with CNN. Sandmann, now 18, still has suits pending against ABC, CBS, NBC, The New York Times, Gannett, and Rolling Stone…
While neither the CNN or Washington Post settlement was made public, there is little doubt that Sandmann is already financially set for life.
Now for a positive takeaway… the same news outlets that have treated President Trump so unfairly are now paying for their insistence on printing fake news.
